EPNextS, Inc. Achieves Science Based Targets (SBT) Certification

TOKYO, Japan, May 21, 2025 – EPNextS, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tatsuma Nagaoka; hereinafter “EPNextS”) is pleased to announce that the EPNextS Group’s greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets have been evaluated by the international climate change initiative, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)*1, and achieved SBT certification*2 on May 8, 2025. This certification demonstrates that the EPNextS Group’s GHG reduction targets are scientifically consistent with the “1.5°C goal” set by the Paris Agreement.

As the entity overseeing the EPS Group’s core businesses of clinical trials and post-marketing operations, EPNextS has established the following reduction targets:

The companies subject to the reduction targets are our company, EPS Corporation, EP-Link Co., Ltd., EP-PharmaLine Co., Ltd., EP Mediate Co., Ltd., EP Yamanashi Co., Ltd. In addition to the EPNextS Group itself, we are also committed to reducing GHG emissions across the entire supply chain of our group businesses.
To achieve these targets, the entire EPNextS Group will work to reduce GHG emissions, aiming to balance the realization of a sustainable society with the enhancement of the EPNextS Group’s corporate value, thereby contributing to the development of the healthcare industry.
