As part of our commitment to Health and Productivity Management, we held a hiking event, “Kamakura HIKE,” on May 25, 2024, in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, aiming to promote employee exercise habits and improve overall health.

The selected route was the Kuzuharaoka-Daibutsu Hiking Course, which runs from Kita-Kamakura to the Great Buddha. It is a course that allows participants to refresh both mind and body while visiting shrines and temples amid rich nature. Participants enjoyed the hike individually, passing through various checkpoints. At the goal, they took a break and toured the Kamakura Muyu-kan facility, which is managed by EPS Holdings, Inc. and also serves as a filming location.

We also utilized a pedometer application to measure steps taken during the hike. By setting up a competition based on the step count at the finish line, we incorporated an element of fun while encouraging a greater awareness of exercise. By setting the goal point in the center of Kamakura City, participants were able to enjoy sightseeing after the hike, making it a fulfilling day.

We will continue to proactively promote such initiatives as part of our effort to create a comfortable work environment and enhance employee well-being.
